To have a game running at 60fps instead of 30fps makes a big difference to its smoothness and responsiveness, making it an overall nicer experience all-round. In response to Danson’s comments regarding the importance of 60fps in games, I feel they’re being a little disingenuous. Shigeru Miyamoto is one of the film’s co-producers, do you imagine he thinks it’s just product? ![]() GC: All creative endeavours are art, just not necessarily good art. In GC’s case the main team outsourced the FIFA games as the main team doesn’t have any interest in football, I am not sure if that is still the case. If a reviewer doesn’t have an interest in said product then surely they should not be reviewing said product, as their bias for not caring or understanding a product would affect their final review. If they have a critical appreciation, then that’s a bonus. Hopefully the weather’s bad so there’s no guilt in staying glued to the TV screen.įilms such as the Super Mario movie wouldn’t be classed as art, the creators would class them as entertainment products. Main problem being that there’s only a month between Zelda and Final Fantasy’s release. Not sure whether the story will have much weight, but it sure does look a lot of fun. Combat certainly looks great from what I saw. There was so much going on in those Eikon battles I felt slightly overwhelmed. Normally I’d be writing to mention all the positives of the new Zelda trailer but, man, that Final Fantasy 16 trailer was totally bonkers. Good job on choosing a perfect date Nintendo. 12 days after the launch, so I’ll be playing on a very long flight. I’m actually going abroad the same month it comes out. You damn wizards, conjuring up a trailer like that and showing us a game like this.
